swapping graphics cards on a lap top?

is it hard to switch out the graphics card on a laptop? What exactly is the process? And does a limited warrenty cover it?

A very VERY large majority of laptops have their GPUs soldered to the mobo... So you cant ever change it.

The only notebook I can think of that lets you change your GPU is the Dell XPS 170... And im not even sure about that.
