Well after a little work, I got both up and running again. Not sure if this might help anyone in the future, but I will post what I did.
One one : I simply just reset BIOS and everything was fine.
The other : I started up w/ only one stick of RAM to make sure one didn't die on me, and I wound up just switching the RAM into the opposite slots. It wound up starting up fine. Looks like on this one, I didn't have one properly seated.
I have 2 Sony Viao's. One w/ 3gb of RAM and the other w/ 2gb. On the 3gb model it has 1gb in one slot and 2gb in the other. I replaced the 2gb from one computer over to the other. Essentially switching to make my primary laptop have the 3gbs.
However, now both laptops only show that they have 1gb of ram. (The un-removed RAM)
Any help or suggestions would be great.
