Question

SWA-5000 won't connect to HT-D6750 Series-ZA

Jul 18, 2017 4:27PM PDT

Hello,
My SWA-5000 rear speaker receiver won't connect to my HT-D6750 HTIB. I have tried all the usual unplug replug both the HTIB receiver and rear speaker receiver, unplugged the TX Card, replugged it back in, reset both receivers to no avail. I even bought a different SWA-5000, that didn't even help. Please HELP!!!

Answer
I'm having a hard time finding if it's compatible.

In the USA call 1800SAMSUNG to ask if it should work.

They are completely compatible, they came together in the box, and have worked up until recently when I moved.

OK, I neglected the usual.

Start with the original gear and be sure the sub is right next to the HT when pairing. If that fails the HT most likely needs repair.

Just curious, why does the subwoofer need to be right next to the ht?

It's a common thing to try.

RF interference in homes has never been higher. You can have hotspots, Bluetooth things, other things. It's on your tech cheat sheet of things to try before you tell folk to get it repaired.
