Suse linux...

i downloaded suse linux10.0 from internet..totally
5 cds...i installed it...but i am having display problems with my monitor..I am not able to get 1024x768 resolution...My monitor is philips105S5..When i had fc4 there is no problem...please help me...thanks in advance....

you use sax2. Click the icon in the lower left of the screen (if using the kde desktop), click system, click configuration, then sax2.You can select resolution, video card, monitor, and mouse settings from there. Hope that helps - Gary

Did you check to make sure

the correct video card and monitor were selected? Seems to me I had the same problem once and when I rechecked one or the other were incorrectly identified. - Gary
