"SuSE Boot Menu" Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dec 31, 2005 6:33AM PST

I have windows XP on my computer.
few days ago,I installed Linux SuSE Professional then I wanted to remove it,So I used ''Norton PartitionMagic'' and deleted the partitions which contain SuSE then I formated unallocated space with FAT32.Everything is OK.
The problem is when the computer starts up,the boot menu (that lets me to choose between XP and SuSe)still appears.
Note: the boot menu which appears is ''Linux SuSe boot menu'' not ''Windows boot menu''.

Just asking.

Why did you do that (procedure)? If I wanted to go to XP, I would boot the XP CD, and take its offers to partition (remove all and create some) and it would install as much as Microsoft supplies.

Your method is a new one for me. Who documented that method?

The Partitions isn't the Problem!

I already had had Windows XP on the computer befor I installed Linux.
why should I use XP CD to "remove all partions and creat some"?
I deleted only the partitions which contain Linux.
Evreything is all right, I just want to remove "Linux Boot Menu" that still appears after removing Linux.

Your procedure is very odd. Where did you find it?

Try FIXMBR. Hint: google.com

Thank You very much,"fixmbr" has worked.
but I would like to answer your question:
Earlier,I didn't find that procedure in anywhere,I invented it.I just thought the Linux will be removed if I deleted the partitions which contain it.
Later, while I was looking for an answer to my problem, I found the exactly procedure on help.com

A little patience with those of us just starting out. I got interested in the thread and while waiting for an answer, I heard a lot of '' Lunge and Parry ''.Let's just try to address a question,in a helpful way. Everyone here respects your knowledge and helpful advise, otherwise.
