Sorry! Never Wise to Show Addie on Board....

as robots constantly scan & accrue same for spamming & worse. Sad
As a member, there is a way for other members to reach you with out exposing yourself. Happy

Posting your email address
Aug 17, 2007 8:25PM PDT

It is not wise to include email addresses in posts in these or any forums.

Forum robots trawl forums for email addresses so they can be spammed. You have the option of amending your profile to allow people to contact you by email through CNET.

Also, posts asking people to participate in surveys are not welcomed. You ask us to contact you with our own email address or other contact details and that means giving away our own personal details. Who knows, this could lead to our own email addresses being spammed.

Sorry, but this survey is a no go-er.

Mark

"Drooling idiots"?

Please! There is absolutely no need for insults like that, whether or not they are intended for the original poster.

I really do not understand why you have to resort to such language when your technical advice is generally so good. But you do it, nearly every time. You have to include some dig or other. It's quite tiresome. I've deleted that post.

Don't bother replying. This discussion is locked anyway because the original poster says he was only seeking friends and that is not the purpose of these forums.

To xiaohb. Sorry but by deleting Jackson's post your reply to him got deleted as well. I have copied your reply below;

"You are right.
I refers to the instant messaging program.
I have no other meaning. Just want to make some friends. Thank you."

As I have said, I am locking this discussion. Whilst I wish you luck in your search for friends these forums are not really the place to search for them.

Good luck.

Mark
