Survey - Robots as mainstream pets...when/if...

Dec 15, 2008 11:10PM PST

I've been thinking about this for a little while and ran across this ~5min video:
http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid988327350/bclid1037705321/bctid4919006001

So, a few questions:

1) Will robots become mainstream pets? why/why not?

2) If yes for Q1), then when will that happen? 0-5years from now, 5-10, 10-20? 20+?

3) If yes/no for Q1), what changes, if any, will be in store for real live pets and/or the master-pet relationship?

Best,
Shalin
