and premium sound systems don't interest me one bit. I wish there was a way to avoid having to listen to 5k watts if thumping bass at traffic lights too. GM wouldn't get anything of value from monitoring me.

GM said at an advertising conference recently that they monitored the radio station choices of drivers and passengers in 90,000 cars for months late last year. All in the name of marketing insights."
GM claims it was "OPT IN" but we often find out folk are all opted in and rarely see any opt in button.
