Because it's a collection, some say hodgepodge and never designed to do what you really want. So you are left to try to find a way but few reply because you may be expecting precise step by step instructions on how to connect with what cables and boxes.
Because of that, few ever get back to you.
My advice is to go get a receiver system for the TV, set that up and use the Logitech on your PC as intended.
Ok so this is a little confusing, (at least to me). I am trying to see if there is a way to connect my old logitech 5.1 surround sound and my sony 2.1 sound system to my pc, which is then hooked up to my xbox one via HDMI and the xbox one is hooked up to my tv via HDMI. video has aways worked but i cant seem to figure out the correct audio setup. the pc has 1 hdmi that comes from my HD7750 radeon graphics card and also an internal sound card which has 4 3.5mm outputs and another section with optical out and optical in plus line in and mic in. the 5.1 surround only has 3 3.5mm inputs and 2 red and white rca. the 2.1 has rca digital coaxl, optical and red and white rca. the tv has 2 hdmi, 1 3.5 mm output and optical out, plus the standard rca. here are the models of each device
TV: Samsung UN55FH6030FXZA
5.1 surround: logitech Z506
2.1: sony HTCT60
graphics card: radeon HD 7750
Sound Card: Syba SD-PEX63081
Xbox one: just standard xbox one
obviously I know updating my surround sound would probably make things much easier but Im trying to see if there is a way for this to work.
