I normally take a quick one with an old digital camera and upload to imgur.com, then post a link to a forum like this one.
In any case, you could be looking at 6.1, since it was offered a few years prior to 7.1 being the more common successor to regular 5.1 surround. There also could be an extra cable thrown in by the installer. Please post a photo (or photos) to see what's going on ![]()
Bought our house a couple of years back. It is wired for Surround Sound ( I think 7.1). I see 7 speaker locations with face plate. But, when I open the face plate, I see 7 cables at every speaker location. How do I know which one to cut at every location?
