Surround Sound for PN50A550

I am renovating my living room and want to update everything, I have decided on the PN50A550. I was interested in opinions on what surround sound system would be best with this TV in a room that is 16x20. I will be also be running a xbox 360 with the system. I would like to spend less than $500 on the system. So i would appreciate any ideas or opinions.

Best matching system from Samsung...

In reply to: Surround Sound for PN50A550 probably the HTZ510. It's below $500 on some websites. It has 5.1 surround sound, 1080p Upconversion, HDMI Output, Wireless rear speakers and it connects very easily to your TV with Samsung's Anynet system. If you don't know what Anynet is about, you can go to -

Hope this helps.

What I mean is. if you have a room that's 16x20 and you want to experience "surround sound" $500 aint enough to fill it. take it slow and build the system. if your re painting and your going to run wires do so run all of your wires, but only buy the receiver and a front pr of speakers to begin, then add a sub, a center, and then the surrounds in that order. I'm sure you have a DVD player that you can use for now. 1pr of $250 speakers and a $300 receiver can sound far better than an entire $500 HTIB not to mention far more flexibility. If you just can't go with out some rears and a center for now, see if you know anyone with some speakers sitting around in the basement or something. I promise that if you can take your time with a surround sound system build, you'll have far more excitement every time you add a new piece, and it will be a far FAR FAR more superior system. If you want some ideas contact me and I'll help ya out.
