surge protectors

What power do I need for a 26" and 46" LCD TV?. Also, should they be coaxial cable ready?

Joules rating you can afford. Yes.

Your home MUST use grounded (3 prong) power outlets. You need to test them and if the tester shows no ground, you must have it fixed for the surge protector to work.

While I have a few big ones, the rule is that each power bar has some protection in it. So each time we use one, it adds to the total protection in the home.
