SurfControl helps companies manage spam, e-mail threats through new online tool

by Donna Buenaventura / March 29, 2004 9:22 PM PST

SurfControl, the world's number one Web and e-mail filtering company, announced the availability of a free online resource to help corporate IT managers quantify the cost of spam and assess the business value of e-mail filtering solutions. According to a recent study of spam and anti-spam solutions by IDC, a leading global industry analyst firm, the majority of IT managers from the public and private sector view spam as a problem that should be addressed as part of a larger network security solution. However, almost half of public sector respondents reported that they had no budget to address this need.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
