SuperAntiSpyware version 4.33.1000

by Big Steve / January 7, 2010 1:57 AM PST

I got this today and wanted to check here to make sure it was the "real deal". I've never heard of CNET TechTracker but I am familiar with CNET Downloads. If this is the "real deal" well I definitely do want to make the upgrade but do I uninstall the older version first, version 4.28.1008 before downloading then installing this newest version, version 4.33.1000 or just download and install version 4.33.1000 right on top of my older version, 4.28.1008?

Yes. It's the "real deal" :)

If you look to your left, you'll notice we even have a "CNET TechTracker". It IS the "real deal".

You can install the new version of SUPERAntiSpyware either way. You can remove the existing version. Then install the new one. If you choose to install it "over the top", the existing version will be removed, and v4.33.1000 will be installed.

Hope this helps..

And not only that, in my first post I meant to write we have CNET TechTracker forum. Instead, I only wrote we have a CNET TechTracker. Silly

It serves me right, for having one hand on the mouse. One foot "out the door". And a mind focused on not being late for an appointment!

OR ..maybe... it was just another senior moment. Sad

Good catch!

Who cares. I did an uninstall of the older version of SAS, downloaded then installed the newer version, v4.33.1000, everything seems to be working fine now.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
