The idea it must be small harkens back to the bad old days where you had 64K RAM or maybe a little more.
I don't consider the size any longer to be a factor and speed seems to be all folk want. Disk space is very cheap today unless you are recycling 10+ year old PC.
K-meleon looks to be out of date if these are its design goals.

k-meleon is a super fast a small file size browser. you are probably thinking why would you need this when you got google chrome or something like that. well that is because its just about the same speed as g-chrome.. I think. and needs way less disk space. I don't remember exactly how much space it takes up, but I know its WAY less than google chrome. google chrome is a pretty big browser(file size) I takes over 220 megabytes of space. while I believe k-meleon dowsnt even take up 50 megabytes
