Super CD Cache?

by butteredpopcorn / April 10, 2007 4:23 AM PDT

One of my friends has a program called TopoZone for Washington; its a topographic map viewing/route making program. normally you have to have four CDs one for each quarter of the state to look at that quarter at any detail at all. But he has figured out a way to "store" the data on his laptop so every time he looks at a random spot in Washington he doesn't have to pop in that quarter's CD. I was wondering how i could do this? Thanks.

I have Windows XP media center.

Alcohol 120% might work. Some of these CDs allow you to have the other CDs in other drives. If so, Alcohol 120% could let you do just this. Sorry I decline to write a tutorial on this software. I will however dis CD Daemon due to it's spyware.
