Sunshield?

Mar 23, 2005 3:14PM PST

In one discussion someone referred to a "sunshield". I've noticed that my new Ex-Z50's LCD screen is nearly useless in bright sunlight, is this something that can help? If so, where do I get a good one for a tiny compact camera?

Not really

These sun shields are just four pieces of thin black plastic stuck together with black adhesive tape. They fold flat when not in use.

The edges that attach to the camera are covered with velcro hook tape and four pieces of velcro adhesive loop tape are included to stick on the four sides of the LCD viewer on the camera.

It is really very simple but not shoddy.

You have to get your eye real close to the shade, obviously, and I need my reading glasses to focus that closely...and I never seem have them with me.
