Suggestions about video editing software for Mac

Jun 5, 2012 3:54PM PDT

I filmed a video about my mother's birthday party last week. Before sharing it to YouTube, I prefer editing the video on my Macbook pro to make it perfect. So I searched video editing software for Mac OS X on internet. There are many Mac video editing software programs available, but I don't know which one to choose. Can anyone give me some suggestion?
P.S. the video is in .avi format, and I want a simple program

I downloaded an easy to use video editing software for Mac.
It enables you to add background music, remove the unwanted part, add cool effect, and so on. And there's no need to worry about the video formats, because this Mac video editing software supported most popular video formats. In addition, if the video is important to you, it also can help you burn the video to DVD for safe storage.
Hope you like it.
