Suggestion on Site background

Jun 26, 2009 11:51AM PDT

A site i run has a sunburst type effect as a background. The problem is that i don't want the center of the image showing, it just doesn't look professional. You probably have no idea what i'm trying to explain..

Anyway, if you resize your browser you can see what i'm talking about. Is there any way to get around this? Obviously it will be CSS related, but i'm still new at these things Happy

Insert it via background image with CSS...

And then create a centered wrapper division for your content with a different background.

I read it three times and came away with the impression that the site given had the issue so I tried it.

Now if their site didn't work they could have viewed the source of the working site to learn "How did they do that?"

Sorry for the confusion

Sorry for the confusion. The site i listed was indeed the site with the issue. If you resize the browser to about 600px in width, you can see the center of the background at the top of the page, i don't want this.

Don't see the issue in SeaMonkey/1.1.16

Maybe you'll have to tell which browser it happens in?
