Suggestion: in Preferences, allow "dissociate" FB userid

by fjpoblam-22735299539763970295319694555105 / May 16, 2010 4:09 AM PDT

I recently trashed my Facebook account. Each time I post on cnet, I still receive a prompt offering to "share" the post with my FB wall. I cannot find in any of my cnet preferences a manner to remove the prompting at the end of each cnet posting. Annoying.

Thanks!

Confirmed

I presume this is the manner, and I have taken the correct link, in which indeed wish me to confirm that my cnet userid is indeed fjpoblam (as regards my discontinued FB userid). I surely appreciate your help!

Couldn't you just link it to your new account and it would overwrite your old link?

Eh?

Link what to what old account? I haven't a clue as to what you're saying. Please translate the "it"s, identify the href, and identify the domain on which the "old account" resides.
