suddenly all USB ports stopped working HELP!!

Aug 20, 2010 1:05PM PDT

I have a Hp pavilion dv7-1267cl. I was trying to fix my wireless internet capability since the touch button stopped responding. Then all of a sudden all of my USB ports stopped working. I plugged in a flash drive that worked literally a few minutes ago but now nothing happens when i plug it in. I checked in Device Manager and it has the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark next to everything in the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section. I have already tried to uninstall all of them with the yellow triangle and reboot for the drivers to be reinstalled but it just Fails every single time. I have tried 2 times now. I have even tried pressing F8 during start up and restoring to a previous configuration and the same thing still happens. I would factory restore my computer but i want to save everything on my terabyte first but i cant with no working USB ports!!!

someone please help!

You could try reverting to previouse driver.
Go to Device Manager and right click the USB controller and click revert to previous driver.
