Substitute for AOL mail saver feature

Feb 13, 2010 12:46AM PST

I have been on AOL for a long time. It has become far slower than Iever remember, but I have not switched to 'regular' email because of the way I have been using AOL's mail. They allow me to save my email on my computer, and I can SEARCH them by subject, sender, date, etc. That helps me if I have an issue with anything from needing to provide a receipt, order date, or simply refer back to an important comment.

I know I can access my email without using the AOL browser, but then I am sort of stuck. My present 'system' saves me a ton of paper (good for the environment), and I do not know of anything out there that would at least come close!

Do you - or does anyone for that matter, know of something that I could use instead? THANKS!
