Subscribed iTunes = the Comcast killer

by Ken from Chicago / July 31, 2007 6:27 AM PDT

Imagine, iTunes isn't just music but video, tv and movies. If you could subscribe to iTunes like Rhapsody, why would you need cable tv?

It could make iPhones look like yesterday's trash. If there's anything more hated than cell phones--yet ubiquitous in use--it's cable tv.

Imagine ....

P.S. Then again, while Apple has the entertainment contacts, Microsoft, Yahoo or even Google could set up similar online structures.

AppleTV

This would give me a reason to buy an appleTV. I would cancel my cable service and watch everything from there. I doubt it would happen, but it would be cool.
