I found (for the office) a pair of refurb r3000s for 720 and 829 bucks each with AMD 64, 512MB RAM, 60GB drives, BlueTooth(BT), wifi, firewire, card readers, pc-card slot, DVD/CDRW, XP Home (full restore CD set) and more. The new r4000 (compaq.com) is not much more and has options that are very nice to behold. We'd buy them again.
