I see an option

to close my account.

Mine is the UK version so you might need to check the "Managing Your Account" Index page on your country's web site.

I had to log in and then PayPal asked me if I was sure, then there was a 'Continue' button. I didn't click that.

If there is a problem with only 1.95$ in your account, try increasing it to the minimum, then closing it.

But did you get as far as the "Close my account" option?

You didn't say.

Looks suspicious to me

"The account cannot be closed because the withdrawal amount is lesser than the original credit fee amount"

That word, "lesser"?

In English grammar that word 'lesser' makes no sense in this context. "less than" works, but lesser? Doesn't work. That worries me in an English language web site.

However, I can't find anything in Google so the choices are;

1] Pay more in to make the balance $10.

2] Raise this with their Help & Support, or

3] Raise the issue in their forums, see if anyone else has had the same problem or can give advice.
