Stuck Pixel in Webcam

Jun 23, 2010 3:59PM PDT

I just got a webcam from eBay. Pretty much generic and cheap (exactly what I expected), but works very nice... Except for this one pixel. Or maybe a pixel. I do not know if webcam imaging has pixels.

It is stuck on white. It is sooo annoying. I'd like to fix it, but I do not know how. I do know that there is software to fix them in screens and have heard that software exists for fixing webcams, but I can't seem to find any. Is there one that anybody knows of??? Or is there something I can do to fix it, short of major surgery?

It's a plug and play type. Called SWD USB 2.0 Webcam. It should be 20 megapixels, but I got it "new" from eBay. So, it came from a wholesale in China Wink ha.

Please help!
