Just be very careful. It is best done with the machine shut down. All the keys are attached in much the same way as any other keyboard, they probably come from the same manufacturer.
They pop off and pop back on.

I have a powerbook G4 Titanium 17". The F10 key got "stuck", and I couldn't push it down. I blew on it with my mouth, and lo and behold, it became unstuck and the dash key became stuck. I immediately figured it was a small foreign body. Now the bracket key is stuck (the dash works), but blowing, and sliding a small piece of tape underneath the key from all sides doesn't seem to work. The good news is that I almost never use the bracket key. But I'd like to get it out anyway. The question is: On a PC keyboard one can simply pry a key up to remove it if need be. Can a Powerbook key be gently pried up without damage as well? jeffe@tpg.com.au
