stubborn pop up

I have pop up stopper and a google toolbar as well as the usual firewall protection. I hacve zero pop ups with the exception of a $%#@ privacy alert window that I used to be able to exit by clicking on an option at the bottom of the window. Now the window doesnt come up high enough on the window to click on any option. I have to shut down to get rid of it.I sure would like some advice. This window is about 4 inches by 4 inches and is sort of an orange color.

There is an issue with the Messenger Service in Windows NT, 2000 and XP. I strongly suggest you run SERVICES.MSC, stop, then disable this service.

Next, it's my policy that no parasite be allowed on the PC. I note an easy to use suite at my post Anti-Parasite Suite over at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&start=0
