Question

Struggling to print a multi-page Word document

My printer is an Epson BX635FWD (firmware up to date). My OS is Yosemite and I can't do back-to-back printing from a multi page Word (MS Word for Mac 2008) document. I want to print page 1 with page 2 on the back, etc. I have no problem printing a multi page web document. I do ctrl+P and the dialogue box offers 2-sided printing, but when I do ctrl+P for a Word document, the dialogue box doesn't offer the 2-sided printing. I would welcome help to solve this. Thanks.

My old school cheat.

In word I print the odd pages then put the paper back into the printer and print the even pages. I've done it this way for over a decade.

Thanks for an answer in part

Many thanks for helping. Yes, you're right in what you say. But my printer supports back-to-back printing and I can do this for a web document. So I should be able to do the same for a Word document and I'd like to achieve this and I'll keep looking for the 'right' solution. Thanks again.

I'm not there to check drivers

You may want to check the maker's site for drivers and notes about Word, etc. Yes, I read the firmware is up to date but no word about the driver version, which Word, etc.
