Stroboscopic Screen Flickering

This seems to be a common theme here with the Samsung sets. Like vazaraq, my set which is just out of warranty has a stroboscopic flickering of the screen. My picture is an exact copy of his video. I have a 46C610N. I have had 5 chat sessions with the help crew. Ticket numbers include LTK564072341X and LTK564075020X. After going thru all the trouble shooting steps, my agent David sent me a link to ask for a service call. I fill out that form and send it and a small window pops up that says "Data processing, please wait". The first time this happened I let the computer process all night!! I am starting to get slightly frustrated with Samsung. This is my 6th Samsung monitor/TV and the first I have had problems with. I love the picture of this set and highly recommend Samsung sets to my friends and family. I may have to rethink that recco. I would appreciate any help.

The flickering problem has been intermittent this week and started again this morning. I called Samsung support, as you suggested and got an extension on my warranty. Someone will be coming to the house to look at the set next week. Thanks for your help, and thanks to Samsung for supporting your products!

First of all, I would like to thank Samsung for giving me a warranty extension. I believe this is fairly uncommon amongst the electronic retailers. The technician just came and changed out two components on the back of the set. He was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Steve from Robbins electronic repair was very helpful. He told me that Samsung had the best customer service of any company, and I believe him, after my experience. The problem has been intermittent and I hope that this fixes the problem. If not, he left his card and told me to call if the problem recurs. I have been very impressed with the picture quality of my Samsung set, now I am also impressed with their customer care! I can continue with my word of mouth advertising campaign. Thanks to this forum also for your guidance and help!
