strict NAT

by frost1691 / March 4, 2007 12:56 AM PST

Hi,
I have a NETGEAR WPN824v2 wireless router, along with a motorola surfboard modem, my xbox 360 has a wireless usb adapter. Recently I have been having a very laggy connection on xbox live. I went to the Xbox 360 Dashboard to check my connection. Everything confirmed except for the NAT settings, it says I have a strict NAT. Last time this happened, I updated my router's firmware, which worked. Then it happened again, but this time it was a moderate NAT. So I went to my router's homepage and went to WAN settings, I saw NAT settings, and it was on secure, so I opened it. Now it says strict in the 360 dashboard, and I've checked the firmware, and checked the WAN settings, everything is the way it should be. So my question is, What else can I do to fix my strict NAT? thanks

But the DMZ or such is in your router manual. I have to run so I'll check back later to see if you read the manual.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
