General discussion

stretch mode for display background does not hold

Dec 22, 2003 11:01PM PST

win98SE; 256 ram, pentII, 350;

Have Desktop Themes installed but use Web Shots. I tried uninstalling Desktop Themes but problem remains.

When I go to display and click on stretch, it will stretch for a short while but then back to where background picture does not fill screen.

I ran scan; Spybot; Spyblaster,system file checker.

(NT) Have you checked with Web Shots support? It was spyware and banned from the office so I will not entertain it ever.

At the office, we don't allow any software that has spyware or parasites or that leak information. Webshots claims to have removed such from their software, but we have elected to never allow it in the office due to their past performance.

You should check with their support to see if they know of such a bug, but in my opinion Webshots is to be deleted.
