Resolved Question

Streaming video from tablet pc to tv?

Nov 23, 2012 3:49AM PST

Hello, my question is: If a guy was to buy one of those 10.1 inch Android Tablets that are for sale now. Would it be able to connect to internet through my wireless network and access Free Hulu and Crackle to stream video and audio to my HD TV through a HDMI cable?. I am looking for the least expensive way to accomplish this since my home computer is so far from the living room and running cable is not an option. Thanks in advance... Joe

I did this.

I used a HDMI cable from my tablet to the TV and tried the wireless HDMI as well. The cable is what I settled on. Less than 10 bucks too.

Answer
It depends

It depends entirely on the tablet, and whether or not it has any kind of HDMI output capability, or just video output period. So do a little homework before you buy and make sure you buy one that supports that function.
