Streaming audio not working through HDMI

I have a Sony VAIO and in the past I have been able to stream videos (Youtube, TvDuck etc..) from the laptop to my Samsung HDTV through an HDMI.

Lately the audio from streaming videos doesn't work.

I opened Spotify and music played through the TV and I click the sound from the speaker in bottom right corner of screen and heard the pings come through the TV.

But nothing from streaming audio?

Help please?

I am running Windows 7.
