Question

streaming audio from macbook pro

May 16, 2011 10:02AM PDT

I'm wanting to stream audio (any audio, not just itunes) from my macbookpro to my harmon kardon soundsticks speakers. Is there a way to do that without breaking the bank?

but as far as I can see, all you have to do is plug the Harmon Kardon Sounsticks into the audio output of the MBP and all the sound comes out of the speakers.

I'm guessing they mean sending a wireless signal to the speakers. In which case if the speakers don't natively support wireless streaming, you'd need some kind of intermediary which probably wouldn't be cheap. Probably much cheaper to just buy a really long extension cord for the headphone jack from Monoprice.
