Question

Streaming and Gaming Laptop

Feb 27, 2016 4:17AM PST

Look I really don't know much about computers and I looked at a bunch of websites listing a bunch of Laptops with all different specs. So basically I was hoping someone could help me find a great laptop for about $1500 or less if possible. I want to do high end gaming on it while streaming console games through my capture card. Please help me if you can greatly appreciated!

Some laptops you can plug a external Graphics processing unit(egpu) is it make it play games on high resolution so pretty much any laptop with an i5 or decent specs could be decent gaming computer once plugged into a external GPU PS some laptops don't work with a GPU but if you just wanted gaming laptop I would recommend looking at a Razer Edge or a (Lanova y series are good with a low price)

How about this?

if you do not really care about the screen size,
i will recommend you this...
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Phantom-001-PORTABABLE-i7-6700HQ-THUNDERBOLT/dp/B0167P47B4?ie=UTF8&keywords=MSI%20GS&qid=1461997215&ref_=sr_1_4&sr=8-4

it is GS40 from MSI. It has high performance with Core i7 and GTX970M, which is good enough for streaming and gaming. besides, it is light and thin, which is really good for you taking wherever you want. you can easily play the game no matter where you are.
although it is not quite big size gaming laptop, there is no overheating issue happened.

So MSI GS40 might be a choice for you.
