This is typical when IE has some pest, parasite, spyware, malware, trojan or other items you don't want.

After all the pests are asurredly gone, and still broken, try IEFIX from http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFIX.htm
In closing, your post neglected the Forum Tip:
"If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution."

I'm exaspirated.
Windows XP
IE 6.0
Problem website: NYTimes.com
I can navigate to NYTimes.com, but once I am on that website, I cannot navigate to any other page on the site. I always get the "Page Cannot Be displayed" BS page.
I have deleted cookies, temporary files, etc. No help.
Here is my temporary work around: Once I get the "Page Cannot be Displayed" page, I copy the address bar, close all IE windows, open IE, paste the address into the address bar, and I can then go to that page.
I have concluded that it has to be a problem w/this pc's settings, because another pc on my home network has no problem navigating in nytimes.com
I have discussed this w/nytimes webmasters, they didn't help.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
