Strange local case. Death sentence postponed

Condemned man says he wants to donate his organs to family

I know that if one has had certain diseases, they cannot donate blood or organs. If a man's body has been infused with chemicals that kill, I'd think the same would be true. This could only be done if he was put under general anesthesia, his parts harvested, and the lethal dose administered afterward. Strange one.
