Question

Strange Keyboard Failure, like a "right click" - Win10 NB

May 24, 2017 6:02PM PDT

Member of my team got new Win10 laptop to work remotely ... she's generally adept and can usually worth through her own IT issues - - - but this one has us both baffled.

Wondering if others have experienced - and if any fix has been recognized by the community:

Keyboard will randomly stop working after login ... and any keystroke after yields a "right click" style response onscreen. Only remedy is restart - but happening more frequently, and often in the middle of an action preventing saves, etc.

She also tried a USB keyboard, and a bluetooth keyboard in hopes that it was an integrated board issue ... all have had this happen.

Confirmed updates are current, and drivers are good. Hoping someone has idea for this one. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Try Windows 10's Refresh option.

I worry there's a hardware failure so test with another other Live OS from USB, CD, DVD, etc.
