Strange Internet Explorer problem

by ITeachComputer / March 29, 2004 7:35 AM PST

Hello all,
I have had a weird thing going on here for a month or so.......I load MSIE6 and "intermittently" I get a blank window in front of the real window that is behind it.....when I shut the blank window, the real window is behind it (most times) sometimes I have to shut MSIE and then open it again. The problem never repeats itself twice in a row either.I run start-up monitor and Spybot in the background and run the check regular,(yesterday, in fact),and it congratulated me as there is no spyware on here. I also run Adios Pop-up and I run AVG paid edition.....and I have had no viruses on this computer in several years. AVG monitors my incoming and outgoing e-mail as well..so I am a bit baffled ? Anyone have this problem ever? Thanks Pam

I am willing to do that, but I don't really want to download them all.....as has been years since I have had any problems or spyware on here,.........and I have never heard of this one LOL........I am curious if anyone has ever had it happen to them and what is causing it.......that would at least tell me, perhaps what other spyware eliminator program to donwload to work with Spybot....Also, I had a whale of a time digging through here to find my post from yesterday. Is there anyway to get an e-mail or notification when someone answers post and then to be able to find it ?<g>

Thanks for the links...I wil check them all out too Happy
if you go here http://www.smartbasicscomputer.com/DownloadsInformation.html you will see what I do use now to keep my system clean....and the links are there as well to what I use...
