Strange..........

all of a sudden, Safari has no address bar. Command-L does nothing, and I tried cutomizing the toolbar, to no avail. Can't quite figure this one out. Any ideas?

I assume you rebooted the computer and clicked on the "reset Safari..." menu command ?

BTW don't do any of that if this stems from you trying to reset user names... you didn't do that did you ?

It is not Command + L, although it looks like it.

I used the top command in the view menu to turn it on and off
