Storing email from Windows.live

In Outlook Express I was able to save desired email to a folder on my C Drive, as well as put it in the left-pane set of Outlook folders. But they had to be emptied on occasion (I saved a lot of email).....but in Windows 7, Windows.live.....I can't find a way to save an email to a permanent folder in my Libraries/Document. POOH !!!
The left pane in Windows.live does not offer a connection to the Libraries on my desk.

Windows 7 has no email client. So this can't be a Windows 7 design issue. I read where you talk of Outlook but that's just some app and not the "OS."
