Store's protection plan & cooler question

Nov 11, 2009 3:20PM PST

Just purchased a new laptop a Dell from Microcenter . It comes with a Dell 1 year Warranty. Should I purchase the store's protection plan.
They have 3 levels:
Platinum $449 (includes screen protection, spills, breakage & drops
Gold (includes screen protection)$299
Silver $179.
Each of these is for 3 years.

Also I need to buy a laptop cooler, looking for sugestions on a good stand Size is 15.6

Thanks

Call Dell and get more from them. Cut out the middle man.
