Today at home we have a pair of 1.5TB USB drives that are the backups of the computers. I hesitate to call them storage as we all know it can be erased. CD/DVD media is getting phased out so you know that in a few years you may find it hard to get a new computer with that.

Again, bare with me folks. I'm a beginner here. I just purchased a Sony Handycam and I want to know the best way to save my videos. I'm using an SD card to record everything. I just would like to know what you do with all of your clips after you're done recording them. Do you just keep them on an SD card, put them on your computer, put them on a thumbdrive or a CD? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for any tips.
