If we define storage as a place to put a file and expect it to be there later, then today's common USB drives fail miserably.
All of them make fine backups. But to call them storage is a stretch. If you want to make them into STORAGE then we need these to follow the olde IT guidelines about backup. (3 copies, 1 off site, etc.)

I have a new desktop running windows 7 professional 64 bit. I want an external strorage hard drive and back up. I have heard there are ones that will come with software to automatically back up your entire hard drive including the Windows 7 O/S. This gives you the ability to easily restore everything if your system crashes.
Recommendations and feedback please.
