STOP error on XP boot CD

I want to restore my Dell E520 desktop back to the original state. I cannot find the restore CD, so I created one using the instructions found here:

Everything went fine in the process, and when I boot to the CD it loads all the normal files, then states that Windows is now Starting, and I get s STOP error. It says to scan my pc for viruses, and I did that. I also ran a chkdsk /f like it says. It still does this with the CD I made, and 2 other XP install CD's I have. Anyone know why this is happening?
