I have another computer thats a Dell Dimension
System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2
Intel Pentium II processor, 233 MHz, 384 MB of RAM
I just recently bought it from Ebay, and it worked fine for the first 2 days, and then it shut down all a sudden, and when it tried to restart, it flashes a blue screen that says,
"Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Session manager initialization system process
terminated unexpectedly with a status of
0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down."
I've searched different places for a solution, other than reformating, because I didn't get any software disks with it, so I don't have a copy of Windows XP.
I found this site, but it was a really long thread, and I didn't understand what to do, since there were so many said to do this, or do that.
I CAN get it to boot in Safe Mode, but thats it. Even though I can get it to do that, I don't know what to do once I do run it in Safe Mode.
I did a Scandisk on the C drive, and it showed that there were no bad sectors, files or anything like that. I don't know much about computers, So I don't know what else to do.
