As to charging, my son added a wireless charging pad to his S5. Very nice.

Where do I start? A few fateful months ago if went wrong and decided to upgrade to a samsung galaxy S5 from my old iphone. I know wish I just stayed being a loyal iphone customer. I recently had a problem with my phone. I left it in my car overnight on a cold night and it came out with hairline stress fractures underneath the screen which made the touch screen unusable. I looked it up online and there are many rare cases of samsung's phone screens cracking from a climate change of warm to cold. Samsung absolutely refused to believe anything I was saying, even after contacting their voice of customer department. There were no signs of physical damage in the phone. The only part the could've been considered physical damage was where I removed the tab for the charger port because I have fat fingers and couldn't access my port through my case, making the usage of the phone annoying and bothersome. I've had my phone screen break at Apple one time in 5 years due to a tight case an they replaced it with no problems but it seems Samsung is a little stingier with their warranty replacement program so I advise those thinking of switching to Samsung to think about it twice because if something god forbid goes wrong with your phone then our on your own or faced with a high premium cost for repair. I can't wait till my next upgrade, never dealing with Samsung ever again.
