Steyer vs Koch Bros

by TONI H / February 25, 2014 4:16 AM PST

Say what you will about the Koch Brothers and their donations and backing of Conservatives, the liberals have their own cloned opposite by the name of Tom Steyer, hedge fund billionaire.

He's donating $50 million of his own money and plans to raise an additional $50 million for not only 'climate change' organizations but for Democrat candidates who run with that platform.

He is also in the running for Energy Secretary's Steven Chu's spot, surprise, surprise....I guess you can still buy your way into DC without a word from the liberal press over that.

So now there are a couple of heavy hitters on the Dem/liberal side.....Steyer and Soros....that makes the numbers about even if you count the Koch Bros on the Conservative side.

Personally I'd rather it were Steyr AUG versus the Koch Bros

or am I not supposed to say that?

ON the other hand there is significant wealthy support for the Democrats, which is why the Conservative Right is fixated on blocking black voters from turning out to vote. The know that when Black voters turn out you get the results you saw for Clinton and Obama, but if you can scare or cheat them, you get results like Gore and Kerry.

Gore won the popular vote but Republicans stole the Electoral vote by excluding a re-count in Florida. If Ralph Nader hadn't been in the race Gore would have won handily. Or aren't we allowed to point that out?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
