Stay With iPhone 6s Plus - Or Return to Samsung Android?

Aug 1, 2016 6:41AM PDT

As one who started using an Android Smart Phone YEARS ago with the Samsung Galaxy Models (Last one being the S5) I then made the switch to an iPhone (6sPlus) thinking that since all I use at home are my MacBook Pro & iMac - that life would be easier for me if all my gear was of the same OS and brand. This was not the case!

After a year + of using this iPhone I have found way too many issues with certain things - worst being Syncing w Laptop & iMac and having duplicate contacts etc! I think all that had to do with me using both the iCloud & VZW Cloud together though. Bottom line is that I am just not entirely thrilled with the iPhone as I thought Id be Sad

However, the trouble now is - Do I stick it out with this device or simply give it to my wife (Still using the iPhone 4-LoL) and move back to a Samsung S7 Edge or perhaps Note model? Therefore, I am sure there are members out there who have faced the same issue as me and Id truly like to hear your thoughts, Pro's, Cons, and anything whatsoever about making the move back to Android vs. staying within the Mac World. Yes I know this matter is VERY opinionated and debatable too. Not my first rodeo. Lol.
Meanwhile I suppose I should create my own Pro's & Con list too, but all I am really leaning toward is the Samsung for its capabilities ya know? Unsure what other brands and models to consider!

Thanks in advance & Semper Fidelis !

I think you nailed why the dupes.

For me I have both the iPhone 5s and (more than one) Android. Why? Work is about Android Apps.

I do have an issue with Android about how you might have to reflash the phone if you install a trojan. That can be avoided if you stick with the Google Store but seriously, imagine the average user.

The one thing that bugs me about Samsung is it's Knox. I've seen it wipe folk out. Then again those folk didn't backup their stuff so that's a discussion on its own.

So I carry both phones and for my LG G4 upgraded it's battery from 3000 to 8000+ mAH. It's still the first week so time will tell if I can get through the week on one charge.
